Auditions are required for all Visiting Dancers Level 3 (age 7) & above. Please choose from the following classes at our Cranston, RI Studio:
April 6, 2025 at 1p
April 27, 2025 at 1p
May 18 at 1p
If you cannot join us in-Studio, please send your video audition, along with a headshot, to ABACranston@gmail.com. You can also upload your audition to YouTube and send us the link at the bottom of the ABASI Audition Form. Video Auditions must be submitted no later than midnight June 1, 2025 and include the following:
Barre: plié; tendu; degagé; rond de jambe; adagio; grande battement
Center: adagio; pirouette from corner; petite allegro; grande allegro
Ladies en pointe (if applicable): simple échappé combination; simple turning combination
Gentlemen: Tour en l’air
Your audition video should be no longer than 10 minutes.
The $25 Audition Fee is due at the time of the Audition. A non-refundable $200 deposit is due by June 15, 2025.
Audition & Registration Fees are non-refundable. Scholarships may be available by request. Housing is not available.

Our smallest dancers will enjoy a fun movement-based class, a snack, and a craft based on the theme of the week!

Ages 5 - 7 ALL ARE WELCOME!
Young dancers will focus on developing proper technique in ballet and jazz, as well as some play-based pantomime and acting. They will also have time for a craft and a snack.

An audition is required; please see above to register for an in Studio audition. A video audition is allowed if a dancer isn’t able to make it to one of our in Studio dates.
Dancers in Levels 3, 4, and 5 are not on pointe and take 11 - 14 hours of class/rehearsal each week; Ages 8 - 12.

PreProfessional & Recreational Intensive for Levels A & B
An audition is required; please see above to register for an in Studio audition. A video audition is allowed if a dancer isn’t able to make it to one of our in Studio dates.
Dancers in Levels A & B are on pointe and take approx 15 hours of class/rehearsal each week; Ages 11 and up.

Prep Week
Competition & PreComp dancers must be invited by ABA Artistic Staff. This week is mandatory for Competitive & PreComp dancers. Each dancer will be scheduled approximately 10 hours during this week.
