Frequently Asked Questions

  • We encourage all students to take a trial class to determine if our studio is a good fit for them.

A trial class is required for all students 7 and older so we can assess which level is best for them.

Trial classes are optional for students 6 and younger.

There is a $25 fee for each trial class. This fee is fully refundable upon registration with our studio.

    1. Click on the LOGIN button in the top right corner of this screen to create your account.

    2. Fill out our New Student Registration form.

    3. Email us if you have any questions - we’re happy to help!

  • We offer rolling registration, so Dancers may join classes at any time during the year. Depending on the timing, dancers may need to wait until our next performance to join us onstage.

  • Please see our Class Levels page for dress code requirements for each level. (Note: there are no dress code requirements for adult classes.)

You’re welcome to purchase tights and leotards from us, or from your favorite dancewear store.

We do recommend purchasing shoes locally to ensure the correct fit. Ballet/Jazz/Character shoes are not necessarily the same size as street shoes.

  • Once your Dancer has come for their Free Trial Class, they will be assigned a class level. Please see our Weekly Class Schedule page for schedule details. If you have further questions, please email us.

  • We offer both Adult: Beginner & Adult: Intermediate classes; both begin with 30 minutes of PBT. If you’ve had classes before - even if it was 20+ years ago - you’re welcome to join our Intermediate class. If you’re more of a beginner, but can’t make our Tuesday or Thursday morning class(es), please email us.

Most importantly, don’t put off trying class because you’re scared or don’t think you can do it. Our Adult dancers are a lovely group of humans and are most welcoming! We hear from everyone that they’re scared before they come in for class, and after their first they usually say they can’t believe they waited so long!

Please note: You can pay for classes on a monthly basis or take Drop-in classes. You will need to register through our Parent Portal either way.

  • ABA is on the side of our building facing Subway. Please note that you must drive around the back of the building (it is one-way! Please go slowly around corners because not everyone knows it is one-way, and there are often people/trucks working behind the building.) to get to our side. You’re welcome to park along the side, or anywhere in the front of the building.

  • We do not require our dancers to perform, but it is in the best interest of their training to do so.

Please see our Performances page for information on what is coming up, and whether performances are right for your Dancer/family.
