Yes! Any student who is 7 or older needs to come in for a Free Trial Class so we can assess which level is best for them to begin their studies. Please email Ms Meg to find the best class for your Dancer to try.
-
Whatever feels comfortable & you can move in. Do you have a leotard/tights/shoes? Perfect! If not, leggings & a shirt are great! Please don’t feel that you should buy anything until after your trial class so we know we are the right fit for your dancer.

Click on the Parent Portal button above. That will get you started in just the right place.
There is a pink stripe on the Home page that says “NEW TO ABA?” That will also send you to our Parent Portal.
Download our app via one of the links at the bottom of our pages. The second button on the app’s home page is “Register”.
Email us if you have any questions - we’re happy to help!
-
We offer rolling registration, so Dancers may join classes at any time during the year. Depending on the timing, dancers may need to wait until our next performance to join us onstage.
-
Please see our Dress Code and check your Dancer’s level for their appropriate class color. You’re welcome to purchase tights from us.
At the bottom of our Dress Code page there is information for several local or online dancewear stores that we recommend.
We do recommend purchasing shoes locally to ensure the correct fit. Ballet/Jazz/Character shoes are not necessarily the same size as street shoes.
-
Once your Dancer has come for their Free Trial Class, please see our Weekly Class Schedule page for more details. If you have further questions, please email Ms Meg.

We offer both Adult: Beginner & Adult: Intermediate classes; both begin with 30 minutes of PBT. If you’ve had classes before - even if it was 20+ years ago - you’re welcome to join our Intermediate class. If you’re more of a beginner, but can’t make our Wednesday morning class, please email us.
Most importantly, don’t put off trying class because you’re scared or don’t think you can do it. Our Adult dancers are a lovely group of humans and are most welcoming! We hear from everyone that they’re scared before they come in for class, and after their first they usually say they can’t believe they waited so long!
Please note: You can pay for classes on a monthly basis or take Drop-in classes. You will need to register through our Parent Portal either way.

ABA is on the side of our building facing Subway. Please note that you must drive around the back of the building (it is one-way! Please go slowly around corners because not everyone knows it is one-way, and there are often people/trucks working behind the building.) to get to our side. You’re welcome to park along the side, or anywhere in the front of the building.

If you’re in the Lobby, you/your dancer will need to go through Studio 1 to get to the restrooms. (Please take your shoes off first!) Walk along the wall to the wooden double doors and the two unisex bathrooms are directly to your right.
If you’re outside, there are glass double doors to your left (if you’re facing the Studio doors). These doors are sometimes unlocked during daylight hours and you may be able to walk straight down the hallway. You’ll see Studio 1 on your right and the restrooms are immediate after.

Dancers Level 4 & up are welcome to stay between classes or rehearsals. If they are going to stay, please make sure they have lunch, a refillable water bottle & extra snacks!
If your dancer is Level 3 & below, please pick them up and bring them back for rehearsals. If you stay with them, they’re welcome to color in the Lobby. Anyone in the Lobby must be respectful of classes/rehearsals in the Studio and keep voices down. If you need to take/make a call, please take it outside. Anyone using sound on their devices will be asked to put on headphones or turn the sound off. Thank you for your assistance in this!

We do not require our dancers to perform, but it is in the best interest of their training to do so.
Please see our Performances page for information on what is coming up, and whether performances are right for your Dancer/family.
